ACT MUSEUMS & GALLERIES

The Canberra swimming pool was a big part of life for me now and when I was a child.
The images of some of Canberra‘s pool show grate history and would bring back many memories for the people swam at the pools.
The prints them self were shot on a large format camera and are very large but they look excellent.

The Fuji ACMP Australian Photograper's Collection a Deacade of showcasing Australia's Best Photography

This was a fantastic exhibition with such a verite of images to look at and enjoy.
Its was grate to see different styles of work up next to each other.

I did not have a favourite image as they were all very good in there own way, but got many ideas for my self from this show.

PICTURE PARADISE Asia Pacific photography 1840s-1940s

This exhibition held at the NGA was a grate way to see old style of photography
And the different papers they had used to print on.

I was interested in the smaller photos in the exhibition as a lot of them had been mounted in little golden pocket size boxes witch you don’t see much of today.

Overall the exhibition was very interesting with all the historic photographs and grate wall text with some of the images.

Hurt

This was a shot taken for the song "Hurt" By Johnny Cash, for a CIT assignment. I had in mind to shot with the sun setting over the mountains but was not there at the right time of day, so I used the grass landscape and got down low to get the right light I was looking for.

By Robert Bourke

Three days in the Gaspe

This show showed the true colors and landscape
of the east side of Canada.

The black and white prints at the show where also very well shot, and  printed.

By David Paterson

MICHELE MAURIN

The back and white photos where very interesting the way they had gold, selenium and other metals to penetrate the silver emulsion and bring out subtle nuances and a special light.

JABBERWOCKY

By Robert Bourke

BRYAN DAWE

Interval. Exhibition held at photoaccess at Manuka Arts Centre, was a outstanding show of images. The size and the colors of all the images worked very well together. This is
something defiantly  you could hang up in your home or work place.

JORGE DEUSTUA

IN SEARCH OF THE HERO

An Anthological Photographic Exhibition by Jorge Deustua

This exhibition was a grate. My favorite images from the show JULIO RAMON . Paris 1980.

The location of this shoot looks like a grate wine bar.
